Communicating about political topics with close friends, and others in general, can be difficult.

In this article I wrote for my Interpersonal Communication class at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, I describe what terms such as friend, conflict, and politics are, and most importantly behaviors that friends can employ in political conflict interactions to make the discussions constructive and informative.
